An array of hundreds of colorful toppings, luscious chocolate and

caramel dripping out from some beautiful dispensers of Ghirardelli ,

 juicy kiwis , strawberries and blueberries , the smell of world's best 

vanilla wafting in the air and an invitation for a healthy guilt free, self
 serve indulgence ...Everything just sounds from some fairyland !!!

Over the last couple of years our  ice cream craving Indian tooth has 

become more conscious about the hidden unhealthy colors, flavorings 

n  sugar laden aspects of the icy magic n we are constantly looking for 

low calorie dessert options to satisfy our sweet cravings. The frozen

 yogurt concept  - with is baby steps in the Indian market is surely 
here to drastically revolutionize  and pamper  our icecream 

crazy taste buds.

The Red Mango tagline - "Treat yourself Well" had definitely impressed me 

and finally I had to accept the courteous invitation  to visit the 

gorgeous store and taste this delight .....Lucky me , besides the wonderful

 tasting  I had a chance to meet  the CEO Mr Rahul Kumar too . 

Red Mango is a World's Number 1 renowned frozen yogurt and  smoothie 

brand ,and has established its foothold in the Indian F& B market with

 its offerings of 100% natural, non-fat & low fat , kosher & gluten free 

frozen yogurts fortified with pro- biotic.With its global presence  in 300 

cities across the world and  5 stores  across Delhi NCR , the company plans to
 open almost 100 stores all across India in next 5 years. 

My tastebuds that were familiar with the taste of the other frozen 

yogurt  brands  in the market were silently questioning me - whats 

so great about this one ???? But the  very first spoonful of this 

delicious , smooth and creamy taste was enough to prove why 

has Red Mango won millions of hearts across the globe. You'l 

be surprised to find that the pale colors ( yes they are free from 

artificial colorings ) of the treats owe their color to real stuff .

Mr Kumar was kind enough to share his  knowledge with me ,

right from the  raw materials, pro- biotic bacterias, flavorings ,

toppings and packaging he briefed me how the brand is 100% 

natural without any artificial sweeteners, colors and flavors. 

Red Mango's believes in  the best . And  to maintain their taste and

quality they import vanilla  from Madagascar ( the finest producer 

of vanilla in the word !!), the strawberries from Sonoma, California ,

Blueberries  from Europe , along with most premium chocolate 

servings from Ghirardelli. I was totally floored with a new self

 serve ,weigh and pay concept. There are absolutely no 

classifications of general / premium toppings  and hence no 
extra charges for the same. 

You pick the flavors, you choose the toppings -  its as simple as that .The 

calcium , protein and live active culture loaded yummilicious 6 flavors

 and over 34 creative toppings right from fresh fruits, granolas, MandMs, n

A bright beautiful morning , birds chirping , some cool

crisp air & a bowl of hearty healthy breakfast on the table

are somethings we all crave for but life moves at such

fast pace that we tend to miss these small pleasures.Often

we mommies find ourselves in the kitchen planning &

preparing breakfasts to reenergize our tiny tots .

"What if I could make something real power packed ,

yummy & just in a couple of mins & yet spend most of the

beautiful morning out of the kitchen " -we often

ponder . But I have surely found my way out !!!!

Few days back I received a packet from Quaker Oats

with several colorful & fun packed samples of their

recently launched Flavored Oats. Flavored Oats- as the

name suggests are the new range of flavors that adds a

yummy punch to the wholegrain Quaker goodness.

Available in 4 delightful flavors - Strawberry with apple,

Kesar with Kishmish , Lemony veggie mix & Homestyle

masala, these little goodies just take 3 mins to pep up .

Cooked with milk Quaker Oats - Strawberry with apple &

apple had won over the little taste buds.

packs and colorful chunks of added vegetables in Homestyle

Masala somehow made me imagine how much fun we will

have lazying a bit more on winter mornings & having fun

to cheer up the lil one on a warm sunny morning .

~Review - Cafe Coffee Day ~

A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness

tasted & time well spent !!

Over the last decade the humble cup of home brewed

beverage has undergone a drastic revolution

and the coffee culture has beautifully taken over the

Indian mass. Cafe Coffee Day is remarkably one of

the trailblazers of this stylish cafe trend....

A lot can happen over a cup of coffee !!!

Owing to some family commitments I had missed the

golden opportunity to attend the unveiling event

of the Mysore Royal ..& by any chance I didn't want to

miss the opportunity of tasting the fresh flavors of

the new food menu. As a part of the invite I chose

the CCD at Shipra Mall for the menu sampling.

The lively ambience of the beautifully lit cafe filled with the

most enchanting aromas of the coffee beans was a perfect

paradise for the coffee lover in me. Mr Asif Ansari ,asst

marketing manager introduced me to the differently

enabled brewmasters & latte artists better known

as the the silent brewmasters ...Like a young child

my eyes were glued to the magical technique of

transforming a cup of coffee into an exquisite

piece of art !!!!

The new menu is a great selection of food items

that can be beautifully summarized as- 'something

to munch on', ' something that is filling ' or

'something that simply satisfies a sweet tooth'...

The foods wonderfully suit the modern consumer.

The Small Eats section is perfect to pamper our going

global taste-buds- the Cheesy Veg Croissant filled

with garden fresh vegetables & a blend of subtly flavored

sauces &cheese offers a wonderful touch of French

delight while the soft yet crunchy ChilliCheese toast

gives the feel of a light heavenly treat . The freshly

baked Chocolate Cookies doused with delicious chocolate

chips are perfect accompaniments to flavorful Latte,

mocha or cappuccino. Hot n spicy veg/chicken puff & the

delectable veg samosa are some more must try items

from this menu.

I simply loved the Tex mex Veg Cheese Sandwich ..

this delicious treat in the Big Eats category is a perfect

mix of Mexican salsa & cheese wrapped in soft bread

topped with cornmeal. My lil one accompanying me was

playing a perfect critique to the Spinach & corn cheese

sandwich- crunchy greens & juicy corns enrobed within

the freshly baked bread was tastier beyond expectations.

Apart from sharing his immense knowledge on coffee

beans & bread doughs Mr Asif told us how a majority of

young coffee lovers crave for the Tandoori Chicken &

Smoked Chicken Sandwiches from this menu .

The humbly prized filler combos starting out for as

low as Rs 59/-are undoubtedly the perfect fillers.

The Sweet treats from the cafe played like little

angels to our visit. 'The Dessert Shot '- which is essentially

a small bite of dessert put together in attractive cups is the

star attraction of the new menu.The luscious & creamy Mango

delight & the rich & smooth Belgian choco shots are great

soothers for the clamoring sweet tooth.These dessert

shots which ooze indulgence with every bite are prized at

just Rs 20/- ...unbelievable !!!The classic Black forest

cake in a cup , the signature oozing chocolate cake-

Indulgence , Nutty Fudge Brownie & Chocolate fantasy

are sure to pamper you in their new avatars.....

Rush into your nearby CCD to treat you taste-buds !!!

This menu is currently available in Delhi NCR &

will be launched in all of the CCD cafes throughout

India phase wise.
